Sessions are led by a board-certified music therapist and may include singing, instrument play, songwriting, music listening, or relaxation with music—depending on your goals.
Focus areas often include emotional expression, communication, motor skills, or stress reduction.

Art therapy combines creative expression with guided therapeutic discussion. You’ll have time to create, reflect, and process with a licensed art therapist in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

We work with individuals of all ages, from young children to older adults. Sessions are always tailored to each person’s goals, abilities, and preferences.

Individual sessions for music and art therapy are offered at 30, 45, and 60 minutes. While group music therapy sessions are 30 or 45 minutes and group art therapy session are 60 minutes, though duration can be adjusted as needed. 

We can provide services directly at your facility for both groups and individuals or they can travel to our office at 501 Darby Creek Rd.

No long-term commitment is required. We understand that facilities’ needs, census, and budgets can shift throughout the year. Our service agreements are intentionally flexible — you can adjust or discontinue services at any time with a simple 30-day written notice.

This allows your team to stay responsive to your clients’ needs without feeling locked into a rigid contract.

Currently our services are only covered by Medicaid Insurance. 

Art therapy services are currently covered for individuals and groups with the following Kentucky Medicaid plans: Aetna, Passport/Molina, Humana, Optum/United Healthcare, WellCare, and Traditional KY Medicaid.

Music therapy services are only covered for eligible clients with United Healthcare Medicaid. 

To qualify for United Healthcare Medicaid covered music therapy you must fit one of the following referral eligibility categories: 

• Have an autism diagnosis, 
• Be  in an adoption assistance programs
• Be a former foster youth (ages 18–26)

For the UHC funded Music therapy process, yes a referral is needed. However, no referral is needed for our medicaid art therapy services 

The client can be clocked out of the facility during their Medicaid-covered music therapy session, then clocked back in once the session is complete.

Yes! Both music and art therapy sessions for individuals are available for private pay clients. We also offer group rate sessions at lower cost per individual and trial sessions to get started. Contact us for more information on pricing. 

Through this grant, we offer six weeks of free (grant-funded) music or art therapy sessions for individuals with epilepsy. Each session lasts 45 minutes and can take place in your facility.
